i am surpised no one brought this up aready. guess you all that much racing fans. i aint one my self. but this was acctully exciting finish like 4 changes in the final 4 laps and dale ennhart jr back staping tony stewt i think...

The only bad thing with the race was that Gordon won, Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace both raced very good and I would have loved to seen one of them win, but one race dosen't win a championship. Lets go Mark !!!

yeah im a race fan actually, i became one last summer because i was so tired of baseball and ive really grown to like it. My favorite guy is Kurt Busch and he almost got it, but those final laps were so exciting, i was lovin it. I was a little dissapointed jeff gordon won, but at least it wasnt dale jr! not that i dont like dale jr, but some of their fans are so annoying!
Go Kurt Busch! and im rootin for mark martin to get a title too... |

I dont know if it was one of the best races ever...the finish was good. Jr. came out of nowhere in the end. I would have loved to see by boy Mark Martin win. Oh well...

The Daytona 500 is one of the greatest races ever. It isnt as prestigous as the Indianapolis 500 and maybe the Grand Prix of Monaco, but they dont call it the Great American Race for nothing.
I myself am a Jimmy Spencer fan (the proud few lol), and he did pretty dang well in the truck race. As far as Nextel Cup, Im an Elliot Sadler fan. For starting in the back, he did pretty well. He usually does well on the restricot plate tracks (unless its the October Talldega race where he ends up going airborne and flipping over). |

your a jimmy spencer fan?!  lol, i really dislike him considering im a kurt busch fan, but i respect you for liking someone that never wins, lol, just kidding. but he was really close to winning that truck race though, he got a tough break with that caution... I wouldve thought Elliot would be up there during the daytona 500, but unfortunatly he wasnt, there were too many chevys leading (like always). |

lol, the Daytona 500 sucked for me! My 2 guys that I picked in my family's draft contest were out. I'm a Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne, & Matt Kenseth fan, lol, my 2 guys were Kahne & Kenseth and they finished pretty badly. But the end was so exciting, lol my whole family was yelling at the TV screen, including myself, i wanted Kurt to win but I'm happy for Gordon.

I wana see more danger. I wana see cars doing a loop going completly upside down like on a roller coster. I wana see a track that's elevated high enough that a car can acctually fall off of.
With the system you have right now that same red neck morons gonna win everytime.

Nascar doesnt really have many redneck drivers anymore, except for some of the old guys and dale jr.  I dont think you can just automatically associate nascar with rednecks anymore, i know a lot of people that arent rednecks at all, but are nascar fans. The sport is growing very fast. |

lol, well kasey will win soon, once he gets that first victory he'll start to really get going. It wasnt that i didnt want jeff to win, i just really wanted kurt to win! lol, and he came so close. And im hopin Matt can get on the right track as well, i like him too. |

Yes I can't wait until Kasey gets his first win! that will be great. I hope Matt gets back on track soon! my family's kickin my ass in our contest right now. LOL. Yea i Wanted Kurt to win as well so did my mom because she has him as one of her two drivers, but I'd say my dad was pretty happy because one of his drivers is Gordon.

| well your smart to have kurt as one of your drivers, he's probably the most consistant driver in nascar. But Gordon isnt a bad choice either |
