Am I the only one that thinks that NASCAR should be racing on Easter? Nothing is more American than Jesus and race cars....

NASCAR announced that it has placed Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Casey Mears on probation for the next six races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as a result of their on-track incident last Saturday at the conclusion of the race at Phoenix International Raceway. Earnhardt, driver of the #88 team and Mears, driver of the #07 team, both violated Section 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing; hitting another competitor’s car after the race had concluded) of the 2009 NASCAR rule book. The probation takes effect beginning with this weekend’s event at Talladega Superspeedway.

wait, NASCAR has a rule book now? I thought it used to be a couple of sentences written on a napkin...proof positive that the powers that be are draining all the fun outta my sport..

yea but i think the rule book is written with pencil so they can change stuff when ever they want to.

more like a dry erase board..with pencil you can still make out what it said before....
Richmond, as typical, good race. Granted the fantasy team blew majorly, but oh well.
Now we be heading to my home track, Darlington, and the Southern 500....hot damn

on a side note, the powers that own his team really need to have Brad Keselowski in that damn car every week...a win at 'Dega and a good finish this past week...sign him up
